Midcentury women in the arts defined the future of design, from architecture to fashion to animation and more.  Underrepresented and often in fields inaccessible to women, these artists and designers led the charge in advance of the feminist movement, taking space at the tables they themselves were creating. Their groundbreaking and iconic work are endlessly inspirational and each woman tells a unique story of unwavering perseverance in an era that excluded women at every turn.
